Driver / Warehouse AssociateThe Driver / Warehouse Associate is responsible for the daily local delivery of products on the TEK company truck. Secondary duties will include receiving, packaging, shipping, inventory, and other general warehouse functions.Additional duties include, but are not limited to the following:Prep and/or load all outbound freight or TEK trucks.Deliver all materials on truck in good condition with proper paperwork.Ensure compliance with delivery and specification requirements of customer orders.Pull and stage material according to the bill-of-lading and ensure the correct material is shipped to the customer.Obtain proof of identity from carriers and obtain the appropriate signatures on the bill-of-lading.Receive all incoming materials daily.Process customer orders daily or within the required time stated on the ship tickets.Assist all operations of shipping, receiving, warehouse, and transportation.Assist daily in the storage of excess inventory.Minimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalentValid State Driver's License and medical certification to drive commercial vehiclesSafe driving recordPreferred QualificationsPreference will be given to candidates with the following qualifications:1+ year(s) of warehouse experienceCore CompetenciesStrong work ethic and self-motivationEffective written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skillsAbility to effectively multi-task and work independently on assigned tasksAbility to measure using various toolsAbility to read, calculate numbers, and accurately transfer dataOperate with high integrity, maintaining positive relations with coworkers, customers, and suppliersBenefits401k with Company MatchHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsuranceLong-term disabilityShort-term disabilityPaid Time OffPaid Holidays
