Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Meat Cutter.

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM until finish
Pay Rate : $19.00/hr
Location : Walton, KY
Meat Cutter Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior experience using a knife to cut up or butcher meat required.
  
• Experience cutting beef, such as striploins, ribeyes, tenderloins, and top butts preferred.
  
• Prior chef or butcher experience preferred.
  
• Experience cutting deer, hogs, or other meat may be considered.
  
• Ability to work in a wet, refrigerated/freezer environment.
  
• Ability to maintain a sharp edge on a knife.
  
• Ability to work in a fast, repetitive environment.
  
• Steel-toed shoes required.
  
• Must be willing to complete a cut test before starting.
  

• Prepare raw materials and trim meat to desired specifications and yield targets.
  
• Properly cut products as they are received into the cutting area.
  
• Handle exposed product safely and carefully.
  
• Portion products according to product specifications.
  
• Perform quality inspections throughout the cutting process.
  
• Ensure proper trimming and portioning to meet standard yields.
  
• Verify product labels and transfer them accurately to the packaging department.
  
• Maintain efficient cutting performance according to product standards.
  
• Perform final product inspections before sending products to the packaging department.
  
• Maintain a sharp and clean cutting knife.
  
• Perform sanitation cleaning as needed to maintain sanitary conditions.
  
• Follow all company safety, quality, and sanitation procedures.
  
• Perform other duties as assigned by plant supervision or management.
