Associate (Austin, TX)Lead proposal preparation by preparing submission materials including scope and resource planning.Deliver bid and execution phase design and consulting services within the utility-scale renewable energy sector.Lead daily execution of project engineering scopes of work.Handle own and supporting team production schedule as well as change management on bids and project work.Lead consulting and engineering commissions of full electrical systems for renewable utility-scale applications, including power, distributed generation, energy storage, microgrid, control, and signaling systems.Review construction drawings and specifications for renewable energy systems and equipment.Support team’s independent engineering services with technical due diligence and opinions.Prepare high-quality technical and consulting reports.Lead project technical performance on projects to quality, time, and budget.Handle promotional and bid pursuit costs to agreed budgets.Lead business growth to achieve or exceed the agreed utility-scale renewable business, annual business revenue, profitability, and cashflow targets.Develop business to service repeat clients and build new client relationships.Mentor and develop future business leaders, promoting learning from successes and challenges in the business.Support the development of technical, commercial, and soft skills development of staff.Promote the quality of project work.Requires Bachelor’s degree plus 10 yrs exp.Benefits that Work - At Arup, we have a comprehensive and valuable benefits program that works for our employees and their families while keeping costs low.
