Here, you will make an impact by:Driving area portfolio growth actions aligned to global strategy to support the USAC Portfolio OP attainment of $ Sales, OLCG% and Gross Margin $ at standardExecuting the area operating plan including pricing strategy, product mix and marketing growth programs, in alignment with the Global Portfolio strategic marketing planLeading and managing successful launch, commercialization and overall health of global NPI’s, NTI’s, and Grow Fast programs in the AreaDelivering accurate demand plans to meet customer expectationsEngaging with sales teams, customers and industry partners to provide Area insights on customer and market trends to form new product development, marketing and growth strategiesYour Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)Five (5) combined years of experience in marketing, sales, channel management and/or customer service in a private, public, government or military environmentProficiency working in 3M systems (e.g., Microsoft Excel - pivot tables, SAP, PowerBI, SFDC, GDPT/Vendavo/Vistex, Horizon)Skills including strong analytical/Excel capabilities, project management, experience leading cross-functional teams, and outstanding interpersonal, written and oral communicationAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Ten (10) combined years of experience in marketing, sales, channel management and/or customer service in a private, public, government or military environmentProficiency working in 3M systems (e.g., Microsoft Excel - pivot tables, SAP, PowerBI, SFDC, GDPT/Vendavo/Vistex, Horizon)Skills including strong analytical/Excel capabilities, project management, experience leading cross-functional teams, and outstanding interpersonal, written and oral communicationStrategic pricing understanding and experienceAbility to translate a global portfolio strategy into area adapted tactics including prioritization of regions and/or segmentsIBP demand planning experienceMaster’s degree in business, marketing and/or related discipline from an accredited institutionAdvanced P&L financial acumen and analytics experienceExperience in the aerospace or defense industryWork location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.Travel: May include up to 20% domesticRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
