Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and RT(R)(CT) certification to support a Level II trauma center's CT department.

Details

Level II trauma center with 176 licensed beds, Magnet designation, Chest Pain Center, and Stroke Center accreditation

CT department averages 50-75 patients per day

Patient population includes ED, inpatient, outpatient, stroke, chest pain, procedural, and trauma cases

Uses GE CT scanners and Epic EMR

8-hour evening shift, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 40 hours per week

Shift times 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM on an 8-week schedule cycle

Weekend rotation every 4th weekend

On-call rotation on an 8-week basis, details discussed during interview

No floating required

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of CT experience required, 3 years preferred

BLS certification required

RT(R)(CT) certification required

IEMA certification required

License required if applicable

Experience with GE CT scanners required

Epic EMR experience required

Skilled in IV starts, stroke and chest pain workups, and trauma cases

Minimum 12 months of core CT experience with most recent experience within the last year

At least 1 professional reference dated within the last year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
