Die Setter

Lapeer-based plastic injection molding manufacturer is seeking Experienced Die Setter to join their team manufacturing plastic interiors such as door panels, consoles, glove compartments. These are 1st shift positions, Mon-Fri, 5A-3P (some overtime may be required on Fridays). Pay is based on experience, starting at $22 per hour. Must have minimum of 5 years of die setter experience. Job Description Support the molding department by performing die setter duties to meet production requirements. Qualifications 5 years of recent experience performing die set-ups, changes and troubleshooting in plastic injection molding machines. Demonstrate knowledge of a wide variety of tools, material variations and quality standards. Must be computer literate. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing. Responsibilities Responsible for all mold changes per schedule along with emergency changes. Responsible for changing any die inserts. Why work for Qualified Staffing?
