Schedule: Night Shift | 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM | Rotating Weekends

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department (ED) for a 13-week contract position in Corvallis, Oregon. The RN will provide emergency nursing care for patients with a broad range of needs, from non-critical conditions to emergent medical, cardiac, trauma, pediatric, and behavioral health presentations.

Responsibilities

Perform rapid and comprehensive assessments of Emergency Department patients and prioritize care based on acuity and clinical condition.
Provide emergency nursing interventions for medical, cardiac, trauma, pediatric, and behavioral health patients.
Monitor patient status, recognize clinical deterioration, and initiate timely interventions and escalation of care.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate diagnostic, therapeutic, and emergency treatment.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic and participate in required night, rotating-weekend, and holiday coverage.

Requirements

Active, Unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) License Required at Time of Submission.
Minimum 1 Year of Registered Nursing / Emergency Department Experience Required.
Current Healthcare Provider-Level BLS/BCLS and ACLS Certifications Required.
Current PALS and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certifications Required.
High School Diploma or Equivalent Verification Required for Moderate-Complexity Testing Compliance.

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide responsive, evidence-based nursing care while supporting safe outcomes across a diverse emergency patient population.
