Canine Care Coordinator - Dog Daycare

You've always wanted to work with Dogs?? Overview Ruff Day Resort is looking for a Caregiver to join our team. The Caregiver is responsible for the physical care and emotional support of our canine guests who stay for the day, week or month with us. Supervising playtime and cleaning will be main responsibilities. This job does not start until May 6th. You must be available to continue working into the summer. Responsibilities Cleaning – Provide housekeeping, cleaning and sanitation of our facility. Attention to detail is a must. Feeding and assisting with medications. Prepare meals, trim nails and give baths. Personal services could include toileting, bathing, feeding and grooming. Companionship – Provide companionship by stimulating, exercising, encouraging and assisting our guests with group play, individual play, bedtime stories, tuck‑in and comfort during playtime. Playgroup supervisor – Provide a safe and fun place for our canine friends to play. Requirements High school diploma preferred Multitasking abilities Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time Minimum 18 hours per week, starting time is 6 am Ability to reach, bend, kneel and stand for a long period of time Ability to move quickly Social Media proficiency Cell phone is required Weekends and holidays are shared responsibilities Benefits Health care, paid time off, paid training, continuing education, professional development.
