About This Role
Dedicated and experienced daycare cook committed to providing nutritious and delicious meals for young children. Skilled in creating balanced menus that meet dietary guidelines and promote healthy eating habits. Passionate about fostering a positive and enjoyable mealtime environment.
What You'll Do- Arrive on time and prepared to cover all kitchen duties.
- Follow the daycare's planned menus and recipes accurately.
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to schedule.
- Ensure all food preparation areas and equipment are clean and sanitized.
- Manage inventory and inform the director of any needed supplies.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards.
- Handle any dietary restrictions or allergies with care.
- Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude with daycare staff.
- Previous experience in food preparation, preferably in a daycare or similar setting.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to follow recipes and meal plans.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
