Regional Manager - Midwest

Achieve sales objectives in line with the marketing plan through effective management of personnel and resources Implement, direct, and control district sales activities Recommend, implement, and promote contests and other incentive programs Recruit, interview, and select sales and clinical personnel Develop district personnel to assume increased responsibilities Operate a district sales office and maintain pertinent records Plan and conduct district sales meetings Communicate with the Area Vice President of Sales on pricing, product acceptance, industry/competitive trends, and marketing strategies Travel with sales associates and clinical specialists within the geography on a weekly basis Recommend changes in compensation for district employees Requirements Bachelor's Degree required Five years of outside medical sales experience or equivalency Demonstrated human relations and communication skills Proven top 20% sales performance in multiple years Successful proven track record of leading people and/or teams Ability to motivate sales employees Knowledge of hospital buying practices and key influences Working knowledge of management by objectives Ability to direct sales representatives to achieve corporate goals Ability to evaluate personnel performanceAbility to counsel and coach sales personnel Knowledge of medical products distribution systems Ability to travel 50-75% of the time within the region Core Competencies Demonstrates strong leadership and motivational skills to drive sales performance while effectively managing personnel and resources.
