You’ll play a key role in ensuring residents receive meals that meet their dietary needs and preferences.### **Key Responsibilities*** Set up and serve **meal trays** according to dietary guidelines* Assist with **meal service and food preparation*** Clear trays and operate the **dishwasher*** Monitor and record **dishwasher temperature and sanitation levels*** Prepare snacks and nourishments* Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment* Sweep, mop, and maintain kitchen and dining areas* Store food and supplies safely and properly* Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout shift* Follow all **food safety and infection control procedures*** Assist the cook and dietary supervisor as needed### **Qualifications*** High school diploma or equivalent preferred* Must obtain and maintain a **Food Handler’s Certificate*** Experience in a **healthcare or food service setting preferred*** Ability to learn food service routines quickly* Strong teamwork and communication skills* Reliable, detail-oriented, and organized### ### **Why Join Cherrydale Post Acute?**At Cherrydale, you’re more than just an employee—you’re part of a team that values your work and invests in your future.
