Compensation Information: $194,856.48 - $216,507.20 per year

Key Responsibilities

• Provides dental care and treatment to referred patients in accordance with facility regulations and standards.
• Performs routine cleaning, restorative dentistry, and extractions as needed.
• Evaluates patients' dental care needs and makes clinically appropriate recommendations.
• Takes impressions for dental appliances and instructs patients in good dental hygiene techniques.
• Maintains accurate and confidential patient records and provides in-service training for health staff members.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Graduate from an accredited school of dental medicine.

Experience

• One year of experience in general dentistry preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

• Must have and maintain current licensure as a dentist within the state of employment.
• Must obtain and maintain CPR certification.

Work Schedule

1.0 FTE (40 hours per week): 20 hours at the downtown jail and 20 hours at the Community Reintegration Center. Hours include 10‑hour shifts Monday‑Thursday, rotating between the two sites. Typical times are 07:00‑17:30 or 08:00‑18:30. No holidays or weekends.
