Flowers Early Learning is a high-quality preschool located in Millburg (Benton Harbor Twp.), Michigan and is currently looking for an Infant/ToddlerHome visitor, serving home basedclassrooms with children ages 0-3.

Position Summary:Coach and partner with families about parenting, health, nutrition, and child development through weekly home visits so families become more effective educators of their children. Plans and implements curriculum, on-going observation, assessment and child outcomes systems consistent with program policies, developmentally appropriate practice, and the Head Start Performance Standards.

Job Type:Full-time, Year Round (12 months per year), Non-Exempt, Hourly

Expected Schedule:Monday- Friday, 8a-4:30p, 40 hours per week. Work hours may vary due to daily schedule.

Rate of Pay:AA: $18.40, BA or Higher: $20.94

Education Requirement:Minimum Associates Degree with emphasis on early childhood education. Desired - Bachelors degree with emphasis on early childhood education. Must obtain a Family Service Credential within 30 days of hire, if not current.

Qualifications:Must have competency in verbal and written communication skills. Must have a personal driving record with not more than 6 active points as determined by the Secretary of State.

Other Selection Criteria:All candidates must possess a valid drivers license and their own reliable transportation, complete a physical examination, comprehensive fingerprinted criminal background check, and pre-employment drug screen including a negative result for Amphetamines, Cannabinoids (including Marijuana/THC), Cocaine, Opiates, and Phencyclidine (PCP). Marijuana is not legal at the federal level and is prohibited in the workplace or in one's system, even if legally prescribed.
