Plastic & Wood Assemblers – Entry Level: Hebron, Illinois
Our customer in Hebron, Illinois is looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Plastic & Wood Assembler to work full-time on 1st shift. In this role, you will assemble shutter components and ensure products meet quality standards in a production environment.
Responsibilities of the Plastic & Wood Assembler:
- Review orders and special instructions prior to assembly.
- Stock the assembly workstation with required materials.
- Inspect the quality of pre-fitted rails and tops.
- Insert louvers and centers and assemble bottoms using air or electric staplers.
- Cut panels to size using a radial arm saw.
- Assemble panels, tops, centers, and bottoms and secure components.
- Inspect finished products for defects and make corrections as needed.
Plastic & Wood Assembler Requirements and Qualifications:
- Basic assembly experience or willingness to learn and cross-train.
- Ability to read tape measurements and interpret work orders.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to perform additional duties as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
Pay for Plastic & Wood Assembler: $15.20–$16.00/hour.
