Job Responsibilities:

1.     Responsible in assisting the rehab director’s overall supervision of the rehab department including all physical, occupational, and speech therapists, as well as therapy aides.

2.     Demonstrates leadership in guiding and managing therapy staff, aiding to facilitate a positive atmosphere with staff.

3.     Assisting therapy staff in problem solving through patient needs and modifying treatment programs as necessary.

4.     Ensures efficient and effective operations adhering to policies and procedures.

5.     Collaborates with rehab director about scheduling needs, and monitoring performance of staff.

6.     Assuring staff are adhering to compliance regulations, and documentation standards.

7.     Will maintain a partial clinical caseload as determined by rehab director.

8.     Ensures that therapy staff is in accordance with documentation standards and guidelines.

Requirements include:

1.     Valid NY professional license

2.     Experience in management is preferred

3.     Graduated from an approved Occupational, Physical, or Speech Pathology program
