Mechanical Project Manager

MEP Project Manager - Healthcare Sector LeadWSP is currently initiating a search for an MEP Project Manager - Healthcare Sector Lead for our Houston, TX office location. This role will be responsible for the development of new clients and projects in the Healthcare sector and leading project teams to deliver those projects and grow those client relationships. We are looking to expand our sector footprint and need an experienced and connected individual who is driven to make and develop client relationships. including active involvement in a variety of renovation, new design, and construction projects.Well-defined specific knowledge of relevant engineering and construction laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.Well-developed ability to make technical computations and calculations involving the application of engineering principles, understanding plans and specifications, and making factual comparisons to the appropriate regulations.Demonstrated effectiveness at coordinating and assertively directing others to consistently complete tasks safely and efficiently.Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.Experience in mentorship of less experienced staff to grow their knowledge, skills, and professionalism.Preferred Qualifications:LEED AP Certification12+ years of relevant post education experience as a Mechanical or Electrical engineer.At least 10+ years of Project Management experience.Experience in Quality Assurance reviews and maintaining a high level of quality deliverables to clients.WSP Benefits:WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits focused on providing health and financial stability throughout the employee's career.
