Job Description The Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) Assistant General Manager oversees the complex day‑to‑day operations of QSR at a single Eataly location. The role reports directly to the QSR General Manager and supervises staff including service leads, baristas, sales associates and stockers. Responsibilities Collaborate closely with the QSR General Manager on all aspects of management. Monitor budget to ensure efficient operations and that expenditures stay within limits. Ensure guest experience standards are consistently met. Create schedules and submit payroll for staff with QSR General Manager approval. Hire, assign, train, motivate, evaluate, and terminate employees as necessary. Document, investigate, and resolve employee and guest incidents. Estimate food and beverage needs, requisition or purchase supplies, and verify orders meet specifications. Supervise cleaning and maintenance of equipment and counters per health standards, and arrange repairs and services when needed. Send daily shift notes to the QSR General Manager. Perform other duties as required or assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. 2+ years of management experience in counter‑service or retail environment. Exceptional communication, leadership, motivational, and team‑building skills. Demonstrated problem‑solving, organizational, and analytical skills. Advanced proficiency in MS Office and a common retail POS system (e.g., Micros). Experience and knowledge in coffee, coffee production, and manual espresso machines. Compensation The annual compensation for this position is $70,000 – $85,000. Job Requirements Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to exert well‑paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting.
