Locum Physician - Hematology Oncology Facility and Practice Overview
Join a premier Cancer Institute located at St. Mary s Hospital in Richmond, VA. You will primarily work in an inpatient setting, with opportunities for outpatient coverage when needed. Job Responsibilities- Provide oversight for a Nurse Practitioner.
- Handle call coverage for the practice.
- Enroll patients in research studies.
- Manage patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Consult on adult patients in the oncology and hematology specialty.
- Utilize the EPIC documentation system for clinical records.
- Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology REQUIRED
- Active Virginia Medical License REQUIRED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification REQUIRED
- Clean background check is required for temporary positions; must submit NPDB during name clearances REQUIRED
- A Self-Query NPDB report is required at the time of presentation (to be pulled within 30 days) REQUIRED
- Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology
- Active Virginia Medical License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
