Position Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Outpatient Orthopedics Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site Location: O'Fallon, IL Schedule: Monday - Friday (Flexible 4x9s + half day or 5x8s | No weekends or on-call) Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated, patient-centered Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join an established outpatient orthopedic clinic in O'Fallon, IL. This role sits within a therapist-led team focused on delivering high-quality, hands-on care to a diverse patient demographic, including sports injuries, orthopedic conditions, musculoskeletal issues, and Medicare/aging populations. Key Responsibilities

Patient Treatment: Implement customized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist for orthopedic, sports, and musculoskeletal conditions.
Hands-On Care: Guide patients through exercises, post-operative rehabilitation, injury prevention strategies, and home exercise programs.
Documentation & EMR: Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation using specialized EMR software.
Caseload Management: Effectively treat an average of 12-15+ patients per day (~65-75 patients per week).
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with Physical Therapists and clinic staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes and seamless operational workflow.

Qualifications & Requirements

Licensure: Active (or eligible) Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the State of Illinois.
Education: Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
Experience: Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred; new graduates with relevant outpatient clinical rotations are encouraged to apply.
Core Competencies: Strong interpersonal communication, excellent time management, and a collaborative, team-first mindset.
