Production Shift Supervisor – 2nd & 3rd Shift-Direct Hire
Location: St. Louis, MO
Shift:

• 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM (Training will take place on 2nd shift before transitioning to 3rd shift.)

We are seeking an experienced  Production Shift Supervisor to oversee manufacturing operations on our 2nd and 3rd shift teams. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring production goals, quality standards, and safety expectations are met while leading and developing production employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead production employees throughout the shift.
• Assign work, monitor workflow, and ensure production schedules are met.
• Coach, train, and develop team members to improve performance.
• Monitor production output and ensure products meet quality standards.
• Identify production issues and implement process improvements.
• Promote and enforce all safety policies and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate production reports and shift documentation.
• Communicate effectively with management and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a  Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, or Team Lead in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with manufacturing equipment and production processes.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial production is preferred.
