Senior Business Analyst / Scrum Master

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst / Scrum Master to support a B2B eCommerce modernization initiative. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, architects, developers, QA, DevOps, and cloud teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, functional specifications, and API/backend requirements.
- Act as a Proxy Product Owner, managing and prioritizing the backlog, refining stories, and helping stakeholders make scope and MVP trade-offs.
- Partner with architects and development teams to understand APIs, integrations, microservices, and technical solutions.
- Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and demos.
- Approximately 25 30% of the role will involve Scrum Master responsibilities.
- Define and document non-functional requirements related to monitoring, observability, alerting, and SRE.
- Support UAT, functional testing, deployments, and production/system-related issues.
- Collaborate with Enterprise DevOps and Cloud teams to ensure successful delivery.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in an IT/Information Systems environment.
- Strong requirements elicitation, documentation, user story, and acceptance criteria experience.
- Experience with Product Owner/Proxy PO and Agile/Scrum practices.
- Strong stakeholder communication and negotiation skills, including MVP and scope discussions.
- Good understanding of SQL, APIs, Azure, Java/Spring Boot, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Cosmos DB, and Bitbucket.
- Experience with eCommerce platforms; B2B eCommerce or order management experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have: Experience with Oracle ATG, CommerceTools, SAP/ERP, ETL, WordPress, InRiver, Bloomreach, Endeca, or Talend is a plus. Oracle ATG experience is not mandatory for the right candidate.
