Location 2830 Mountaineer Blvd, Charleston, WV, 25309 About the Role Team Manager at Panera Bread is responsible for leading a team of up to 75 staff members, ensuring top‑quality service, maintaining safety and sanitation standards, and driving business performance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Serve as a role‑model and lead the team. Ensure that team members provide great customer service. Take ownership for the business performance of the restaurant. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following all safety and sanitation standards and procedures. Run quality opening, mid, and closing shifts ensuring a consistent positive customer experience. Coordinate the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts. Greet customers and conduct table visits to ensure customer satisfaction. Recruit, train, and motivate staff. Assist the specialist within the bakery‑cafe, ensuring team members are properly trained and fully competent in all aspects of food service and customer support. Ensure objectives are achieved while operating within all company guidelines, cultural values, and following ethical business practices. Promote and embody company values and beliefs. Qualifications At least 1–2 years of hospitality experience. Food Management Certifications are a plus. Run it Like You Own It mentality. Excellent organization, customer service, and time‑management skills. Proven leadership track record. Passion, energy, and a positive attitude. Works well under pressure and with a diverse group of people. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Standard reference checks. Physical Standards Must be able to stand and mobilize for up to 10 hours. Must be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds. Must read and write to facilitate communication. Must possess finger and hand dexterity for using small tools.
