Position SummaryAqua Gulf Supply Chain is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our Jacksonville operations. This role partners with business leaders to drive HR strategies, enhance employee engagement, manage employee relations, and support organizational effectiveness in a fast-paced transportation environment.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in employee relations, performance management, HR compliance, and strategic partnership within an operations-driven setting.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives
- Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution
- Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate actions
- Support talent management , including workforce planning and succession planning
- Collaborate with recruiting to support talent acquisition efforts
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Maintain and promote a safety-first and inclusive workplace culture
- Analyze HR metrics (turnover, retention, engagement) and provide actionable insights
- Support and implement HR programs, policies, and initiatives
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience (HR Generalist, HRBP, or similar role)
- Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and HR best practices
- Experience supporting operations, logistics, transportation, or industrial environments
- Experience in trucking, logistics, supply chain, or transportation industries
- Familiarity with DOT regulations or compliance-heavy environments
- HR certification ( SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR )
- Experience supporting multi-site operations
