Payroll & HRIS Specialist

SyBridge Technologies is seeking a Payroll & HRIS Specialist to provide reliable support for multi state U.S. payroll operations and serve as the centralized resource for employee data entry and maintenance within the HRIS. The role may also support benefits administration based on business needs. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now and a strong background supporting payroll within a manufacturing environment, ensure timely and accurate payroll support, maintain high-quality HRIS data, and coordinate closely with HR, Finance, payroll partners, and employees.

Payroll Support Act as the designated resource for weekly and semi-monthly U.S. payroll processing. Review and enter payroll-related changes, including new hires, terminations, salary updates, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and other employee changes. Validate payroll data, identify discrepancies, and support payroll audits and reconciliations. Coordinate with HR and Finance regarding payroll changes, approvals, reporting, and issue resolution. Support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax requirements. Maintain payroll documentation and assist with payroll-related reports.

HRIS Data Management Serve as the centralized data entry resource for the HRIS, entering and maintaining employee information accurately and on time. Process employee lifecycle updates, including hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, status changes, leaves, and terminations. Perform routine data audits and resolve incomplete, inconsistent, or inaccurate records. Maintain confidentiality and follow internal controls for employee and payroll information. Partner with HR stakeholders to standardize data-entry practices and support reliable HR reporting.

Benefits Support Assist with employee benefit enrollments, life-event changes, and annual open enrollment activities, as assigned. Update benefits-related employee data in the HRIS and coordinate with benefits vendors or brokers when required. Help respond to routine employee benefits inquiries and escalate complex matters to the appropriate internal or external partner. Support accurate benefits records and related compliance documentation.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. 5+ years of payroll, HRIS data management and Benefits experience. Hands-on experience supporting multi-state U.S. payroll. Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a must. Experience entering, maintaining, and auditing employee data in an HRIS. Working knowledge of U.S. payroll practices, taxes, and employment-related data requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to work effectively across HR and Finance teams. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
