Job Opportunity – Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Urgent Care – Virginia
Start Date: As soon as credentialing is complete
Location: Richmond, Virginia (multiple locations throughout the metro area)
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12+ hour shifts between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, 7 days a week (includes weekends). Shift length may vary based on patient flow; providers are expected to see all patients who arrive during operating hours.

- Comprehensive procedural scope including suturing, splinting, joint reduction, and point-of-care diagnostics
Requirements:
- Active Virginia Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- Board Certification (required)
- Current BLS and DEA certifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in emergency department, primary care, or urgent care setting
- Proficiency in urgent care procedures including laceration repair (simple, intermediate, and complex), incision and drainage, foreign body removal, splinting and casting, joint reduction, x-ray interpretation, EKG evaluation, point-of-care lab interpretation, epistaxis management, cerumen removal, and airway support
- Clean background with no malpractice or licensing issues
- Local candidates or candidates willing to cover own travel costs preferred
