Let’s Grow Together! Can’t walk past a crooked display without fixing it? Always adjusting, rebuilding, reorganizing, or catching the important detail everyone else missed? Good. We’re looking for that person. Brief Description Let’s Grow Together! Can’t walk past a crooked display without fixing it? Always adjusting, rebuilding, reorganizing, or catching the important detail everyone else missed? Good. We’re looking for that person. The Showroom Manager is equal parts craftsperson, visual merchandiser, and project coordinator. Reporting to the Creative Director, this role turns creative direction into physical reality across Accent Decor’s Atlanta, Las Vegas, and High Point showrooms. Customer experience and brand consistency will always be top of mind for this role. This is not a desk-only role. You will move fixtures, build displays, style product, install plants, solve problems, coordinate logistics, lead setups, and keep every detail moving toward market readiness. One minute you may be refining a vignette, the next you may be fixing a wall display, tracking a shipment, or redirecting a setup team. The right person has a sharp visual eye, practical skills, strong instincts, and zero hesitation about jumping in. You care how a space looks, how it functions, and how it gets finished. You know the difference between done and done right. In return for your time and talents, we’ll provide a values-driven culture, where team members do the right thing, pursue originality, embrace and drive change, respect every person, give generously, build community through empathy, and infuse passion in all we do. The salary range for this role is $65,000-$75,000 per year. We offer comprehensive benefits including paid volunteer leave to support you as you give back to the community. At Accent Decor, we don't just accept difference - we celebrate it, support it, and thrive on it for the benefit of our team members, our products, and our community. We are proud to be an equal-opportunity workplace. Showroom Operations & Readiness Owning the day-to-day maintenance, organization, and readiness of the Atlanta, Las Vegas, and High Point showrooms. Managing the cleaning, lighting, repairs, paint touch-ups, back-of-house organization, supplies, fixtures, props, plants, tools, and merchandising materials. Developing and maintaining procedures and checklists for setup, teardown, tagging, plant installation, prop management, and inter-market transitions. Coordinating purchasing, replenishment, storage, and vendor communication for showroom needs. Ensuring product tagging, signage, pricing visibility, shoppability, and presentation standards are consistently maintained. Independently addressing basic repairs, installations, and physical showroom issues. Partnering with the Project Operations Manager, Brand & Design to improve workflows and document repeatable processes. Market Planning & Execution Leading operational planning and on-site execution for six annual markets across Atlanta, Las Vegas, and High Point. Coordinating product arrivals, receiving, unpacking, sample organization, fixture preparation, plant installation, and pre-market readiness. Developing and overseeing setup, market, breakdown, and transition schedules in partnership with the Creative Director and Creative Project Manager. Serving as an on-site lead throughout setup, market weeks, and post-market breakdown. Maintaining showroom appearance through daily resets, plant care, product straightening, cleaning, and replenishment. Supporting Sales with customer engagement, product location, order-entry support, and general troubleshooting. Managing travel logistics, market schedules, supply needs, and budget tracking. Anticipating risks, identify delays, and clearly communicate blockers or resource needs. Visual Merchandising & Buildout Execution Supporting the physical execution of showroom concepts, seasonal stories, product launches, and market presentations under the direction of the Creative Director. Translating creative direction into product placement, fixture movement, vignettes, wall displays, tablescapes, room resets, and styling. Approaching each installation with a craftsperson’s mindset, demonstrating care, precision, resourcefulness, and pride in the finished environment. Performing basic assembly, installation, painting, mounting, measuring, repair, and set‑building work as needed. Installing plants, vessels, greenery, props, signage, surfaces, and decorative elements. Working confidently with basic tools, ladders, carts, hardware, fixtures, and shelving. Ensuring all installations are safe, durable, functional, customer‑friendly, and aligned with brand standards. Considering scale, proportion, product density, traffic flow, accessibility, and shoppability when executing layouts. Identifying improvements that strengthen product storytelling, customer engagement, and the overall showroom experience. Balancing creative direction with timing, materials, budget, safety, durability, and maintenance needs. Photo Studio Support Supporting the photo studio with product pulling, sample preparation, prop organization, set preparation, and studio resets. Assisting the Photography Manager and Creative Director with basic set building, prop sourcing, styling support, and product readiness. Supporting fixture assembly, surface preparation, backdrop installation, and simple prop modifications. Maintaining shared props, samples, plants, vessels, surfaces, tools, and studio materials. Tracking and caring for products and props used in photography and return them to the appropriate location. Coordinating showroom and studio sample needs to minimize loss, duplication, and misplacement. Logistics & Cross-Functional Coordination Serving as a liaison among Creative, Visual Merchandising, Sales, Marketing, Product, Photography, and Logistics. Partnering with the SLC Logistics team on samples, props, shipments, studio needs, and market materials. Coordinating shipment tracking, receiving, unpacking, inventory, and organization for showroom and photo materials. Maintaining accurate documentation of sample movement, product locations, prop inventory, supplies, and outstanding shipments. Communicating needs, risks, timelines, dependencies, and blockers to internal partners. Coordinating vendors, contractors, freelancers, and temporary support as needed. Supporting additional trade events, floral events, and satellite showroom activations while maintaining focus on core showroom markets. Project Coordination & Team Leadership Building and maintaining project plans, task lists, checklists, schedules, budgets, and inventory trackers. Coordinating overlapping workstreams across product arrivals, buildout, merchandising, plant installation, signage, styling, and market readiness. Tracking deadlines, dependencies, ownership, and completion status in Wrike or a similar platform. Translating creative direction into clear, actionable tasks for internal teams, vendors, and freelancers. Providing regular progress updates to the Creative Director and Creative Project Manager. Documenting lessons learned and recommend improvements following each market cycle. Leading showroom setup teams, freelance help, contractors, vendors, and temporary support. Establishing clear task ownership and training team members on showroom standards, tagging, setup processes, tool safety, plant care, and merchandising expectations. Maintaining accountability, organization, communication, and momentum during high‑volume preparation periods. Leading by example and work directly alongside the team throughout execution. Requirements 4–6 years of experience in showroom operations, visual merchandising, event production, retail merchandising, interiors, home décor, furniture, wholesale, photo studio support, or a related field. Strong visual merchandising, spatial planning, and product presentation skills. Hands‑on experience with showroom setup, market preparation, event buildout, photo set support, retail installation, or physical merchandising. Ability to assemble, install, repair, paint, mount, build, or modify displays, fixtures, props, or related elements. Ability to translate creative direction, reference imagery, measurements, floor plans, and installation instructions into completed environments. Ability to travel up to eight weeks annually across Atlanta, Las Vegas, High Point, and limited additional events. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and participate directly in setup, breakdown, fixture movement, product handling, plant installation, and studio support. Comfortable working on ladders, using carts and tools, and being on foot for extended periods. Strong organization, planning, prioritization, and multitasking skills. Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tracking tools. Experience with Wrike or a similar project management platform. Excellent communication, cross‑functional coordination, and real‑time problem‑solving skills. Ability to balance hands‑on execution with project coordination, documentation, and administrative responsibilities. You’ll stand out from other applicants if you can show: Experience leading small showroom, visual, retail, event, installation, or studio support teams. Background in home décor, interiors, furniture, floral, wholesale, retail, photo production, set building, or trade shows. Experience developing showroom processes, standards, checklists, and workflows. Familiarity with trade show logistics, sample management, prop inventory, photo sample tracking, and showroom transitions. Experience assembling or installing fixtures, shelving, displays, props, surfaces, or temporary showroom elements. Familiarity with basic construction materials, hardware, mounting systems, paint, measurements, and installation techniques. Comfort working with plants, floral installations, live decorative elements, and basic plant care. Experience translating creative concepts into physical spaces within budget, timing, material, and operational constraints. Design, visual merchandising, styling, photo production, set production, or event coordination experience preferred. Portfolio examples of showroom installations, retail displays, event environments, photo sets, or related buildout work are preferred.
