Child Psychiatrist

To support a growing practice, the part-time Tennessee Licensed Child Psychiatrist will conduct virtual psychiatric evaluations and provide evidence-based treatment and medication management for children and adolescents while collaborating with families and other healthcare providers. Key responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and create individualized treatment plans Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and medication management strategies for various mental health conditions Foster a collaborative treatment environment by educating families and involving them in care planning Required qualifications: Board-certified or -eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with an active license in at least one state Experience providing telehealth therapy services in a virtual environment preferred Proficiency with computer and live video tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Meets) Demonstrated family engagement skills and experience working with children and adolescents Familiarity with JCAHO guidelines and competency in practicing within an accredited framework
