See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality:Position Overview:As part of the talented Stuart Operations team, you will assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make subassemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and miscellaneous equipment. Fits, aligns, calibrates, and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements; repairs units or products that have failed to meet requirements.At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver.Assembly of components including plastic parts, ball screws, gears, and motors, including final assemblyOperate manual machinesRead and comprehend instructions and follow established proceduresCollect all material and equipment needed to begin the processAlign material and put together parts to build more complex unitsCheck output to ensure highest qualityMaintain equipment in good conditionReport on issues, malfunction or defective partsMaintain a safe work environment by following all company protocols, regulations and proceduresFollow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process.Test finished products for defects.All other duties as assignedDiversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.Required Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent, preferredMinimal related experience preferred as an assembler or similar role in a manufacturing settingPreferred Qualifications:Some experience as an assembler preferredTechnical knowledge and ability to read assembly instructions and follow standard operation proceduresAbility in using tools and machinesGood understanding of quality control principlesGood communication skillsExcellent hand-eye coordination and physical conditionWorks well in a fast-paced team environmentWorking Conditions:While performing duties of the job, incumbent is required to stand for full shift; walk; sit; use hand to finger handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hearEmployee must occasionally lift and/or move up 50 poundsSpecific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusNon-A/C work area; the noise level can periodically be higher than normal, hearing protection may be requiredThe anticipated pay range for this position is $14.00 - $19.00, hourly.
