Qualifications:

• Current and valid Physical Therapy license in the state
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric therapy setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and family members
• Organized, reliable, and capable of working independently during scheduled sessions
• Familiarity with therapeutic interventions and adaptive equipment for school-aged children

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized Physical Therapy services as specified in the student’s educational plan
• Evaluate the student’s functional mobility and develop appropriate goals
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and the student's family to maximize participation and independence in the school setting
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress, and outcomes
• Provide recommendations for classroom modifications and equipment, ensuring educational accessibility
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to promote success over the school year
