Job Quick Facts:
• Specialty: Family Medicine • Job Type: Permanent • Facility Location: Stillwater, NY • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Reason For Coverage: Vacancy • Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Work Schedule: Mon-Fri; 4-5 days/week • Call Schedule: TBD; Shared call rotation - Limited call • Patient Demographics: All ages • Support Staff: APPs • Duties: - Manage chronic illnesses, injuries, and acute care cases - Perform routine exams, cancer screenings, immunizations, and lifestyle counselling - Participate in a light call rotation with RN triage • Other Info:
- Phone call coverage once every 70 days - Telemedicine coverage for 2–3 hours on weekends once every 3 months
- Optionally participate in teaching medical students & precepting NP/PA students Requirements: • Active NY License or ability to obtain • BC/BE • DEA • ACLS • Clean Record • Min 1 year of experience in primary care
