Job Title: Construction Cleaner Job Description

This role focuses on final cleaning for a large data center construction project, ensuring all server racks, equipment, and facility areas meet strict cleanliness and safety standards before handover. You will perform detailed cleaning tasks in an active commercial and industrial construction environment, including work at heights, to support a safe and efficient site.

• Perform final cleaning of the data center facility, including wiping down server racks, equipment, and surrounding areas to a high standard.
• Sweep, mop, and dust floors, walls, and other surfaces throughout the construction site.
• Use ladders to work at heights of approximately 8 feet to dust servers, wires, and elevated surfaces using broom dusters and other cleaning tools.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in active commercial and industrial construction areas while following site safety rules.
• Operate or assist with the use of scissor lifts or other aerial lift equipment when certified and required for elevated cleaning tasks.
• Follow all OSHA, construction safety, and site-specific protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Inspect work areas to ensure all assigned cleaning tasks are completed and meet project requirements.
• Use cleaning equipment such as buffers and other tools, when needed and if trained, to maintain floors and surfaces.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and site personnel to coordinate tasks and address any issues related to cleanliness or safety.
• Support general housekeeping and labor tasks as needed to maintain a safe and orderly work environment.

• Proven cleaning experience, ideally in a commercial or industrial setting.
• Experience working on commercial or industrial construction sites.
• Comfort working at heights, including standing on ladders approximately 8 feet off the ground.
• Strong housekeeping and general labor skills in an active jobsite environment.
• OSHA 10 certification for construction.
• Scissor lift and lift certification, with the ability to operate lifts safely when required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and lifting equipment as part of daily duties.
• Reliability and punctuality for early morning shifts and consistent weekday schedules.
• Ability to follow detailed safety instructions and maintain compliance with construction site regulations.

• Janitorial or sanitation experience in any environment is preferred.
• Customer service experience involving direct customer interaction is a plus.
• Experience using buffers or other powered cleaning equipment is beneficial.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning tools and supplies in construction settings.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality cleaning results.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, evolving construction environment.

The role offers a structured weekday schedule, consistent hours, and a supportive team environment focused on safety and professionalism. You can benefit from a partially covered commute option if you live near Temple, with company transportation provided to the jobsite while you are on the clock. The organization supplies necessary PPE (beyond basic attire) and emphasizes a safe, well-equipped work setting, giving you the tools and structure you need to succeed.

This position follows a Monday through Friday schedule, typically from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, in an active data center construction site. You will work both on the ground and at heights, including on ladders around 8 feet and potentially on scissor lifts if certified. The environment is a commercial and industrial construction setting with ongoing trades and equipment in operation, requiring strict adherence to safety protocols. You will use standard cleaning tools such as brooms, mops, dusters, and possibly buffers or other cleaning equipment. The role requires wearing jeans and steel-toe boots, while all additional personal protective equipment (such as hard hats, safety glasses, and other required gear) is provided. For those living closer to Temple, there is an option to commute to a local meeting point, ride in a company van to the site, and be on the clock during that travel. Others will commute directly to the Burlington area and clock in upon arrival with the team.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burlington, TX.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Burlington,TX.
