About the Position

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – Georgia

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Schedule: 48-hour weekly guarantee; every other weekend required; holiday coverage required per assignment length

Highlights:

• Large, high-volume emergency department with 59 beds serving 165-175 patients daily
• High-acuity patient population including stroke and STEMI certifications
• 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio across all shifts
• Epic EMR system utilized (experience required)
• Orientation hours provided based on contract length
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred; multiple ER travel assignments ideal
• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Epic charting system experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
• TNCC and SANE certifications preferred
• Experience with high-acuity patient care, trauma, stroke, and STEMI protocols
• Proficiency in emergency procedures including triage, IV starts, EKG interpretation, sedation monitoring, and dysrhythmia management
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
