Beyond our storefronts, we proudly partner with over 100 local businesses to spread the joy of Too Sweet Cakes across Oregon, Washington, and Arizona.Job Overview: We're looking for a Flow-Wrapper Packaging Operator with hands-on experience operating Ilapak horizontal flow-wrapper packaging machines (or similar models). In this role, you'll keep production lines moving and ensure our baked goods are packaged consistently, efficiently, and shelf-ready. If you're mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and experienced in food packaging, this is a great opportunity to join our growing team.Responsibilities:Operate and monitor horizontal flow-wrapper packaging machine(s).Set up machine for different product runs, including film roll changes and adjustments.Package finished baked goods accurately, maintaining speed and quality standards.Inspect product appearance to ensure packaging meets quality requirements.Perform daily cleaning, sanitation, and basic preventative maintenance.Assist with machine disassembly/reassembly for deep cleaning and troubleshooting.Identify and report equipment issues promptly to supervisors/maintenance.Follow all Food Safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines.Support production team with additional tasks as needed.Remain flexible to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
