Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must be capable of providing quality respiratory therapy services and ensuring patient safety in line with departmental guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments according to prescribed protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and adjust treatments as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and apply patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and procedures.
- Maintain patient records and documentation accurately.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 24 months RRT experience with recent experience in the last 12 months.
- Current life support certifications (AHA, ARC, or ASHI).
- No hits on state license to practice.
- Active BLS certification from an approved vendor.
- Driver's license to verify residency.
- Travel experience is highly preferred.
