The Warehouse Production Worker plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations through loading, unloading, furniture handling, and merchandise processing. Operating primarily within a small team and occasionally working independently, this role involves engaging with customers, performing quality inspections, assembling furniture, and assisting management with various tasks. The position demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and reliability to maintain smooth warehouse functions without the need for travel beyond the primary location.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload truck shipments
• Unwrap, inspect, repair, and price furniture
• Build, test, and price furniture pieces
• Process general merchandise items including pricing and stocking
• Assist store and warehouse managers with various tasks
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if needed)
• Work directly with customers occasionally as needed
• Research products online for pricing and inventory accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in warehouse operations
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift Operator Certification
• Familiarity with forklift and pallet jack operation
• Inventory management skills
• Experience with furniture assembly and product inspection
• Strong customer service skills
• Physical stamina and ability to lift 50+ lbs with assistance
• Effective time management and attention to detail
