Details Float pool position covering Med/Surg, Rehab, and Geri Psych units Day shift, 7a-7p Defined workweek runs Sunday 12:01am through Saturday 11:59pm Must be willing and able to float across all three assigned units Requirements Active NH or compact RN license required Current BLS certification required ACLS certification required Graduate of an approved nursing program preferred Dysrhythmia course completion required prior to end of orientation for telemetry-based departments CPI training preferred or must be obtained prior to completion of orientation Additional Information Provides professional nursing care and comprehensive clinical documentation each shift Communicates patient information through bedside shift report, multidisciplinary rounds, and hourly rounding Participates in daily unit-based safety huddles and quality/performance improvement initiatives May serve as preceptor for new nurses and collaborate with nursing students and instructors Delegates aspects of care and collaborates in planning, supervising, and instructing other nursing personnel American Traveler Job ID P-749180.
