Regional BCBA

Salary: $85,000 - 95,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a masters degree or higher in applied behavior analysis, behavioral therapy, special education, or a closely related discipline.
• We require a current BCBA credential, or that you are actively working toward obtaining it.
• A special education or education specialist credential is preferred.
• You must currently hold, or be able to obtain, a valid California drivers license.
• You must be able to secure and maintain company-approved crisis management certification.
• We prefer experience or working knowledge in behavioral support, ideally in an alternative, special education, or behavioral health setting.
• We need strong knowledge of ABA, including PBIS, data-driven decision-making, FBA, and BIP development.
• You should be highly skilled in supporting children with learning disabilities, emotional behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and related disabilities.
• We prefer experience with special education services and compliance, instructional strategies, classroom management systems, data-based decision-making, and IEP support.
• You should have a strong record of creating and carrying out effective intervention plans for students with diverse needs.
• You need the ability to motivate students and hold constructive, goal-focused conversations.
• Experience or strong capability in crisis management systems and intervention procedures is required.
• You must be able to think quickly and stay calm in emergencies while making independent decisions.
• Strong oral and written communication, organization, conflict resolution, multitasking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential.
• You should be comfortable using technology, including computers, Microsoft Office, databases, and standard office equipment.

• We provide training and ongoing coaching to teachers and educational staff on developing effective FBAs and BIPs.
• We monitor the quality and impact of academic instruction and behavioral support services to help ensure strong student outcomes.
• We model, reinforce, and strengthen instructional best practices aligned with IEP goals.
• We implement evidence-based behavioral and educational interventions to support academic, social, emotional, and independent functioning.
• We deliver crisis intervention and support for students with aggressive or self-injurious behavior and work to reduce the need for 1:1 staffing.
• We partner with on-site education teams to collect, review, and interpret behavioral data and track student progress.
• We complete regular quality reviews across student, staff, classroom, and site levels and recommend improvements based on data analysis.
• We help build on-site team capability through training in behavioral assessment, intervention, positive behavior supports, data collection, and crisis management.
• We supervise and guide staff in the region pursuing BACB credentials, as agreed with the Program Director or VP of Behavior Services.
• We support the creation and execution of improvement plans for assigned campuses.
• We participate in multidisciplinary campus and regional meetings to address behavioral needs and shape comprehensive support plans.
• We ensure campuses follow Department of Education regulations and internal standards for educational and behavioral services.
• We maintain accurate records related to assessments, interventions, progress, and compliance.
• We provide operational support to schools in the assigned area, with emphasis on academic achievement, behavior support, staff retention, and development.
• We take on additional duties and special projects as needed to support organizational goals and student success.
