Job TitleRecord Center SpecialistJob DescriptionRecord Center Specialists are responsible for the physical handling of storage boxes, bins, and totes, which can weigh between 24 lbs and over 100 lbs. The role involves frequent kneeling, squatting, reaching, and bending forward. Employees will move boxes manually and with hand carts. Protective footwear is required, meeting ASTM F2413-11 standards with a slip-resistant rating of "Better or Best." Location: Walton Hills, OHWork ScheduleThe normal work schedule is 5 days a week, 9 hours a day, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.ResponsibilitiesProcess orders and handle boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.Perform manual lifting, carrying, and arranging of boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting.Lift and carry boxes weighing from 10-100 lbs regularly without assistance.Load and safely operate hand trucks and pallet jacks on uneven and concrete surfaces.Use a proprietary computer system to track orders and determine box locations.Operate handheld scanners.Climb and balance on ladders.Load and shrink-wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.Load boxes onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids.Essential FunctionsWalk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.Work without assistance to grip, lift, push, pull, and carry boxes, including up and down inclines, stairs, and over changes in walking surface/elevation.Read and write in English.Lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs without assistance for prolonged periods.Load, operate, and move hand carts, pallet jacks, and various other material handling aids.Additional InformationPotential for Temp to Perm: YesITAR Regulations: The position does not require the worker to be a US Person.Public Trust Clearance: Not applicable.Service Contract Act: Not applicable.Benefits PEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
