TMS Technician

As a TMS Therapy Technician,you'lldelivercutting-edge, non-invasive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy to patients managing depression, mood disorders, and other mental health conditions, contributing to Kolmac's mission of making high-quality behavioral health care accessible, dignified, and free of judgment. Responsibilities Prepare and operate TMS equipment following established protocols to ensure safe and effective treatment sessions. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history, to tailor therapy plans appropriately. Administer TMS treatments while monitoring patient responses closely, ensuring comfort and safety throughout each session. Maintain accurate medical documentation and electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow. Maintain accurate patient records and support data-entry tasks. Prepare treatment room inventory, restock supplies, and ensure cleanliness and organization. Support providers with paperwork, patient education materials, and follow-up communication. Educate prospective and current patients about TMS therapy and what to expect throughout treatment. Qualifications Knowledge of mental health and behavioral care practices, including crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques, is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and medical documentation processes. Strong communication skills for client interaction, education, and team collaboration. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is a major plus. Proficient use of basic computer applications — Microsoft apps, search engines, scanning, etc. Comfortable working with medical/mechanical devices. Patient-centered, compassionate team player who is professional, punctual, and proactive. Detail-oriented and tech-savvy, with a strong desire to learn, grow, and adapt. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage details effectively.
