Epic ATE Support Analyst

Salary: $65,000 - 105,000 per year Requirements:

• Previous Epic go-live At-the-Elbow support experience; the posting lists both 2 years and 3 years of Epic ATE experience as required.
• Must live or be located in Ontario, Canada.
• Must have supported 2 Epic go-lives in Canada and must have worked on 5 previous Epic go-lives, as stated in the application questions.
• Strong knowledge of clinical or revenue cycle workflows.
• Experience supporting one or more Epic applications: Ambulatory, ClinDoc, ASAP, Willow, Resolute, Cadence, Prelude, Cupid, Radiant, OpTime, or Anesthesia.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and learn new workflows and technologies quickly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Epic certification, proficiency, or credentialing is preferred but may not be required.
• A clinical background (such as RN, LPN, MA, RT, PT, pharmacy, or registration) or healthcare IT experience is preferred.
• Experience in hospitals, ambulatory clinics, or integrated health systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of IT Service Management processes and ticketing applications is preferred.
• Ability to work extended 10–12-hour shifts, including day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed.
• Ability to walk throughout assigned clinical departments during shifts and remain calm and professional in fast-paced, high-pressure settings.
• Willingness to travel 100% is required.

• Provide in-person At-the-Elbow support during Epic go-live activities.
• Help physicians, nurses, clinicians, registration staff, and ancillary teams use Epic workflows.
• Answer questions about navigation, documentation, order entry, scheduling, registration, medication administration, and clinical workflows.
• Reinforce Epic training and best practices to build user confidence and adoption.
• Observe clinical workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Troubleshoot basic Epic issues, resolve them when possible, and determine when escalation is needed.
• Record incidents, service requests, and potential enhancements in the organizations ticketing system.
• Escalate application, technical, interface, device, and workflow issues to the appropriate command center teams.
• Track unresolved issues and follow up with users to confirm resolution.
• Communicate regularly with department leaders and command center staff about recurring issues and trends.
• Help test printers, scanners, barcode readers, label printers, mobile devices, and workstations.
• Check workstation functionality and Epic access during assigned shifts.
• Assist with downtime and recovery procedures when needed.
• Take part in daily shift huddles, issue reviews, and status meetings.
• Maintain thorough records of issues, resolutions, and lessons learned.
• Deliver attentive customer service and maintain a professional demeanor in high-pressure clinical environments.
