Plant ManagerPlant Manager will direct, coach, and teach as required to accomplish the objectives of good manufacturing practices. The Plant Manager is responsible for the plant safety, following SOP, daily production, logistic, use and effectiveness of the ERP system, purchasing of raw materials and plant security. The production Manager is to assist in development and optimization of the manufacturing processes.Detailed Tasks (Not Limited To):Maintain a safe working atmosphere at all timesMonitoring all work process for safe working conditionsPractice proper working proceduresUnderstand and be a part of PSMDevelop and maintain safety policiesRecording OSHA Reports on all incidents of near missesMaintain plant securityEnsure proper open up and close up proceduresEnsure no unauthorized person enters facilityAssisting in developing and Optimizing ProcessesAssist Project personnel in developing the process by using experience, communication and cooperationGenerate records, condition sheetsAssisting in testingProduction ResponsibilitiesQualityObserve and adjust Manufacturing Standard as requiredMonitor production ReportsSchedule shipmentsContinually develop individual skills in the areas ofLeadershipTeamworkFunction as a team leader by directing the team to assist in obtaining above responsibilities.Required Training:High School diploma or GED / Technical diploma / professional studies diplomaRequirements & Prerequisites:Languages: English and Spanish (bilingual preferred)10 years of experience in a manufacturing atmosphere2 or 4 year degree in related field minimum, 3 years of experienceExcellent oral and written communication skills.Hands-on experience in shop floor data collection and statistical process control.Ability to work effectively and independently on plant operations and projects as a member or leader of a team.Hands on knowledge of ERP systemsEOE, including disability/vets
