Speech Language Pathologist

Job Description Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required. New Opening for a Speech Language Pathologist Position in Lapeer, MI As a Speech Language Pathologist youwill be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students. This role involves working closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that support students' academic and social development. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results. Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in groups. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to support students' communication needs in the classroom. Qualifications Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred. Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.
