Dairy/Frozen Specialist(Full Time)

Apply now and let’s create the perfect pear together! Specific Accountabilities: Merchandise and stock all dairy and frozen products. Rotate product to minimize out of dates. Meet stocking efficiency goals. Ensure that all products are stocked according to the plan-o-gram. Accountable for all Dairy/Frozen orders including pre-sells and ABS orders. Maintain department shelf conditions and cleaning. Ensure proper sign and tag maintenance. Unload pallets, build displays and drive hi-lo. Assist guests with product recommendations and locations, product requests, special orders, etc. Provide input to manager concerning associate performance and department conditions. Provide solid leadership and guidance to direct reports. Contribute to organizational effectiveness by offering information, suggestions and recommendations. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by completing educational opportunities, reviewing professional publications, benchmarking state of the art practices and networking. Execute with operational integrity by anticipating problems, taking preventative measures, and adapting to changes that improve our operations or guest experience. Consistently follow Busch’s policies and procedures. Share our passion for our products by being familiar with our products and services and actively seeking and sharing that information. Education, Experience and Skills High school diploma. 2 years’ experience working in a grocery department. Certification for Hi Lo / Powered Pallet Jack. Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, including written, verbal and listening skills. Proficient computer skills in excel, word and email. Able to learn and use a variety of proprietary applications and technology. Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills. Basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing and using percentages Busch’s is a family owned premier grocery retailer with multiple stores in Southeast Michigan.
