This role is responsible for daily operations in the Finishing Center by helping maintain the warehouse, assisting with plant maintenance, loading and unloading foliage trucks, and preparing branch deliveries. This role is directly involved in all phases of the warehouse operations including customer service, inventory management, and warehouse operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Perform warehouse operations including local deliveries, inventory management, order entry, and vendor shipping/receivingCount, compare, check and inspect quantities of materials and products for distribution to customersComplete one or more warehouse functions within the guidelines of the facility (pick, pack, wrap, load and possibly assist with delivering orders)Take inventory; document and invoice orders and product movementSubmit weekly, monthly and yearly reports, as requiredProvide maintenance to foliage as directed by Warehouse ManagerWhat do you need?High school diploma or GEDForklift CertificationThis is an entry level position. 2+ years in warehouse environment or customer service preferredAble to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings and weekend work when neededAbility to lift at least 50 lbs loading and unloading productsAbility to obtain and maintain licenses/certificates as required by federal, state and local regulationsStrong attention to detail and willingness to learnExcellent organization and time management skillsAvailable to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as neededMust pass pre-employment background screenBase Pay RangeHourly: $18.00 - $25.00While starting pay falls within the given range, it can vary based on factors like geographic location, skills, education, and experience.
