(Part-time Faculty) - Athletic Trainer

Job Overview Monterey Peninsula College is establishing a pool for future part‑time teaching assignments in an open enrollment, individualized self‑paced lab setting. Instructors will be assigned under the supervision of the Dean of STEM and guidance of the Health department, and will teach courses at the Monterey campus and/or Marina Education Center. Duties and Responsibilities Meet each scheduled class and conduct learning exercises. Teach in an open enrollment individualized self‑paced lab setting where multiple courses are offered simultaneously. Notify the appropriate division chair or administrator in advance for unavoidable absences. Provide each student with written information about the course, including grading system and evaluation methods. Accurately keep required class records on attendance, withdrawal and grading. Submit required reports such as attendance/grade reports, roll books, and class information sheets. Comply with all institutional policies and procedures. Pay careful attention to all bulletins, memorandums and emails from administrative offices. Check faculty mailbox and MPC email frequently. Demonstrate understanding and appreciation of diverse student and staff backgrounds. Qualifications Any bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience, or Any associate degree and six years of professional experience, or The equivalent, as documented in Equivalency Form. Assignment Details Teaching assignments are part‑time and temporary, with the District retaining the right of assignment.
