You will play a key role in ensuring all rigging operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with lift procedures, project requirements, and WHS legislation.Key ResponsibilitiesRigging OperationsCarry out intermediate to advanced rigging tasks including lifting, moving, and securing structural steel, mechanical equipment, precast elements, and materialsInterpret lift plans, engineered drawings, and rigging studiesSelect, inspect, and safely use rigging gear including slings, shackles, chain blocks, and lifting assembliesDirect crane operators and doggers using clear communication and standard signallingSet up and dismantle hoists, winches, and temporary lifting systemsSafety & CompliancePerform pre-start equipment checks and report defects immediatelyEnsure all lifting activities comply with WHS legislation, site requirements, and manufacturer specificationsMaintain exclusion zones and enforce safe lifting practicesPlanning & CoordinationSupport lift planning for non-critical and complex liftsWork with engineers, supervisors, crane crews, and trades to coordinate safe and efficient lifting operationsWhat We OfferRDOsMon-Sat - day shift10hr days (6hrs Sat)Highly attractive rates of pay and employment conditionsRequired Skills and CompetenciesHigh-Risk Work Licence: Intermediate Rigger (RI) or Advanced Rigger (RA)High-Risk Work Licence: Dogging (DG)Construction Induction Card (White Card)Current driver’s licenceWorking at Heights and Confined Space Entry (desirable)ACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 certification in Australia, which certifies the company's commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
