Butter Pecan BakeshopButter Pecan Bakeshop is a fast-growing bakeshop with locations throughout the Bay Area. We are hiring additional bakery team members to keep up with demand. We specialize in freshly baked cookies available for local pick-up, delivery, and nationwide shipping.Job DescriptionWho are we looking for?If you are good with people, responsible, comfortable in the kitchen and have a strong work ethic, we'll teach you the rest.What you will do:Welcome customers with a smile and friendly attitude. Review the menu, make recommendations, and provide a superior customer experience. Utilize POS (point of sale) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently. Pack orders correctly and handle them with care. Perform customer service tasks as directed by Manager(s), Shift Lead(s) and/or Owners. Ensure all areas are clean, neat, and organized at all times. Prep, bake, and clean-up as needed.Tasks and job expectations include but are not limited to:Bake cookiesHave a positive attitude at all times and be reliableWork well on a teamMust be able to maintain consistent availability and commit to shiftsFollow company policies and proceduresPerform shifts as scheduled to open and close the bakeryComplete guest orders with attention to detail and accuracyAnswer questions and provide excellent customer service with confidenceIdentify and recover guests who are dissatisfied with service and/or productEnsure all food is prepared, handled and stored according to all required food safety code standardsAssist in kitchen to support all baking activitiesValid CA Food Handler's Certificate required upon hireRequirements:RELIABILITY AND EXCELLENT ATTENDANCE ARE REQUIRED.Previous quick service food handling experience in either the hospitality or food and beverage industry requiredOne year of experience in a customer service environmentMust maintain and follow strict cleaning and food handling/safety guidelines. Mask and gloves are required at all times.Able to precisely and consistently bake cookies according to baking instructions.Has integrity, positive attitude & takes initiative.Is comfortable working on a team and independently.Must be trustworthy.
