Job Overview Sun River Health is a Federally Qualified, Non‑Profit Health Center serving communities across several counties. We are looking for a full‑time Registered Nurse to join our team at the New Rochelle site. Position Details Full‑time Registered Nurse – New Rochelle site. Pay: $45.00/hr to $52.11/hr. Sign On Bonus: $2,700 (conditions apply). Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develops, implements and evaluates nursing care regimens for clients. Plans, coordinates and assesses client care. Identifies client needs and provides direct nursing care based on the client’s care plan. Documents client care with accurate and accessible records. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to develop, implement and evaluate client care. Functions as preceptor to students, new hire candidates and other clinical team members/staff when needed. Administers prescribed medication and keeps accurate records in accordance with law and policy. Utilizes standing orders in compliance with policies. Communicates with Pharmacy, Laboratories, and other vendors as needed. Assists with medication refills per protocols. Maintains professional competence through participation in staff development and educational programs. Provides clinical education and counseling to patients for health promotion and disease prevention. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (required).
