We are seeking a Part-Time Medical Assistant to join our growing Medi-Weightloss® Noblesville/Fishers team of medical professionals in an upscale medical office concentrating on preventative medicine, nutritional guidance, and obesity medicine. Working in partnership with our medical staff, our Medical Assistant is responsible for supporting the clinical duties of the practice. If you are looking for a new challenge in the medical field, or are simply looking for a change, please apply today for immediate consideration.Primary Responsibilities Include:Provides a comfortable, supportive, and fun environment for our patientsAssists the nurse practitioner with patient vitals and data collectionDraws blood for lab work and prepares lab order formsAdministers intramuscular and interstitial injectionsConducts EKGsAssists with the daily monitoring of inventory levels of clinical and office suppliesCaptures before and after photosAssists with checking-in and checking-out patientsHelps to maintain the cleanliness of the officeEncourages patients in nutrition and a healthy lifestyleOther duties as assignedSuccessful Candidates Must Have:Must be a Certified or Registered Medical AssistantExperience with intramuscular injectionsBackground and experience with blood draws/venipunctureAbility and interest in working a part-time schedule including some eveningsAt least one year of experience with EKGs and phlebotomy requiredReliable transportationDedication to punctualityAbility to work a half day at least one or two Saturdays a month (the clinic is open Tuesday through Saturday, closed Sunday & Monday)What We Offer:Employee discount on products and servicesPaid time offUniform allowance
