Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories, strengths, and needs, aiding in the identification of tailored therapeutic interventions. \n
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and holistic mental wellness. \n
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patients' healing processes. \n
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that encourage participants to process trauma, practice coping strategies, and foster connections with others on similar healing journeys. \n
- Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other allied health professionals to ensure an integrated and coordinated approach to patient care. \n
- Provide immediate crisis intervention for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their safety and emotional support during critical moments. \n
- Educate patients and their families about typical trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to enhance their understanding and empowerment. \n
- Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring a complete history of patient interaction and care. \n
- Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities to continually refine your skills in trauma-informed care. \n
- Remain informed about the latest research developments and best practices in trauma therapy to effectively implement innovative strategies for our clients. \n
Our services cater primarily to individuals dealing with trauma-related issues, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. In this role, your expertise will directly impact the recovery journeys of these individuals, providing them with resources and therapeutic options that lead to profound and lasting healing.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington State. \n
- A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling. \n
- Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches that prioritize patient safety and emotional security. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to listen compassionately and provide non-judgmental support. \n
- An ability to remain composed and effective in high-stress situations, ensuring patient care remains the priority. \n
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant digital tools to document patient care and outcomes accurately. \n

- Experience providing trauma-focused therapies and interventions, particularly within a telehealth framework. \n
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team-oriented approach. \n
